In 2016, UNT alumna Brittany Grignon-Hays opened one Pilates studio in Dallas. Today, operates seven locations across Texas and Tennessee, serves more than 23,000 clients each year, and is recognized as one of the region’s fastest-growing wellness brands.

Brittany’s commitment extends beyond her own company. In 2026, she launched the SESSION Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and supporting the next generation of North Texas female founders.

The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is proud to welcome her back to campus as part of our Distinguished Speaker Series. She will join us for a fireside chat on building a brand, leading with purpose, and expanding opportunity for women in business.

The Event Leadership Collective (ELC), powered by PCMA, lives its mission of connecting students with meeting and event industry professionals!

In September, ELC students participated in a Meeting Professionals International Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter event at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie. Students began the evening with a special Young Professionals pre-event featuring roundtable conversations with six industry leaders. Afterward, they had the opportunity to network with MPI D/FW members, tour Lone Star Park, and enjoy an evening of horse racing. Experiences like these help students build relationships, ask questions, and learn firsthand from professionals in the meetings and events industry.
