UNT MIST M.Sc. International Sustainable Tourism is a program designed to excel students in the areas of sustainable development and resource allocation.

This program is a joint Master of Science degree in International Sustainable Tourism (MIST) between the University of North Texas and CATIE (The Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) in Turrialba, Cartago, Costa Rica. This leading-edge tourism specialty balances environmental, economic, and socio-cultural benefits and concerns. CATIE combines scientific research, graduate ed

It is that time of year again!! The 4th Annual Global Symposium for Sustainable Tourism Research will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 8am - 1pm CDT.

More information on the speakers, topics, and times will be coming out soon. For any questions in the meantime, please contact Dr. Daniel Spears at [email protected].

Also, everyone will have to register to tune in this year. You will be able to do this one of two ways:
1. You will receive an email if you are in our database with a link that will allow you to pre-register, or
2. You can follow the link that will be posted on our website and register through there
