Today’s Tour Thursday brings us to Margery Reed Hall, named for the daughter of Mary Reed! 🎓

It was completed in 1928 to honor Margery and her life and funded by her mother, Mary. It underwent substantial renovations in March of 2014 to bring us to the beautiful building today holding classrooms and admin offices.

Margery Reed includes the outstanding Reiman Theater which has a hidden turner restored mural painted by John E. Thompson.

This past weekend we hosted one of our favorite campus traditions: Hockey Night Lights! 🏒✨

Students camped out starting Friday night until Saturday morning for the chance to win season hockey tickets, and took part in fun activities all night from painting the ice, watching a lacrosse game, and free food and music.

Today’s Tour Thursday brings us to one of our most outstanding buildings, the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science. 📘 👷

Completed in 2016, this five-story building spans approximately 130,000 square feet. It is home to classrooms, labs, maker spaces, and research facilities, making it a cornerstone of DU’s STEM programs. DU is an R1 institution, the highest classification a university can achieve for research activity.

Today’s Tour Thursday brings us to our Daniels College of Business, one of our most popular colleges. 🧑‍💼💼

Established in 1908, Daniels College of Business is the eighth-oldest business school in the United States. It holds accreditation from AACSB International, the longest-serving and widely recognized accrediting organization for business schools. This accreditation is considered a gold standard in business education.

Inside the building, you’ll find Einstein Bros. Bagels, the Marcus Commons, the Entrepreneurship Hub, and an Investment Center.
