The Ved Nanda Center for International & Comparative Law hosts Professor David Oppenheimer for a discussion on his newly released book "The Diversity Principle: A Transformative Idea" (Yale University Press, 2026). Alexi Freeman, associate dean for Community Support & Engagement, and Professor Rashmi Goel will provide commentary. The event will be moderated by Kelley Loper, director of the Ved Nanda Center.
David B. Oppenheimer is a clinical professor of law at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and co-director of the Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Law. He is the author or editor of ten books and scores of articles on US and global discrimination law.
