Yegge Endowed Distinguished Professor and Professor Elizabeth Jordan, director of the Immigration Law and Policy Clinic, both of whom are part of the 2026-2027 cohort of Public Impact Fellows at DU. The program is designed to help faculty share their groundbreaking research beyond the classroom and the lab. Fellows learn how to tell the story of their work through media interviews, opinion pieces, social media, and more. Over the course of the year, participants meet regularly and have opportunities to connect with journalists, community leaders, and University leaders.

Election Integrity & the 2026 Midterms

Please join DU's Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs, in partnership with the Sturm College of Law, and the Rule of Law Taskforce of The Colorado Bar Association for "Colorado's Trusted Election System in a World of Controversy and Conflicting Pressures," a timely panel discussion on the security of Colorado's 2026 midterm elections.

An expert-led discussion will walk through Colorado's record against a turbulent two months in Washington: two executive orders, more than thirty DOJ lawsuits over voter rolls, a Supreme Court fight over USPS authority over mail ballots, and Colorado's own role as a plaintiff state in that fight.

This event is for every Colorado voter across the political spectrum who wants a factual understanding of how our elections actually work, and what's really happening at the federal level.
