Students gain real world hands-on experience at a Ford or Lincoln dealership. The Ford ASSET program is a 2-year degree based program that is for those interested in a career as a Ford/Lincoln dealership service technician. Through our 'Earn While You Learn' style schedule, students spend half of their semester on the Des Moines Area Community College-Ankeny campus learning about how the various v

ehicle systems work. The other half of the semester is spent applying what is learned at a sponsoring Ford/Lincoln dealership gaining hands-on experience through paid internships. Contact us to find out how we can shape your future!

The DMACC automotive program hosted the Iowa Auto Dealers Association High School skills competition hands on performance test this past Friday. Prizes were awarded to all 8 schools + the highest scoring Sophomores from the written portion. Prizes totaled over $20k consisting of scholarships, tools, tool chests. Congratulations to all of the participants!!
