This past July, Drake Jazz Ensemble One toured Europe under the leadership of Professor of Jazz Studies Andrew Classen with resounding success—performing across Italy, France, Belgium, and Holland. By invitation, through recordings of the Ensemble, they took the stage at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, the Vienne Jazz Festival in France, and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam—earning excellent reviews and enthusiastic responses from large audiences at every stop 🫶
