Advising Appointments are 15-minutes long. To make the most of your time, please arrive a few minutes early or right on time. We allow a 5-minute grace period—if you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you may need to reschedule your appointment.

Congratulations to our newest Academic Advisors, Sophia Lopez and Michelle Camburn, on becoming Mental Health First Aid certified, and to Senior Academic Advisor Cameron Carrara on completing his recertification! đź’š This comprehensive 7-hour training prepares advisors to recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond with empathy and confidence, and connect students with appropriate campus and community resources.

In the Office of Advising, Transitions, and Student Success, every member of our advising team maintains Mental Health First Aid certification, renewing it every three years as part of our commitment to student success. By investing in this training, we are better equipped to foster a supportive, caring environment where students feel seen, supported, and connected to the help they need.
