More than just the wife of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Coretta Scott King was a force of her own. She was a civil rights leader, activist, and advocate for justice, peace, and equality.

After Dr. King’s assassination, she carried the movement forward, founding the King Center and fighting for the national holiday in his honor. Her activism expanded beyond racial justice—she championed women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and global human rights until her last days.

Her voice, her power, and her resilience continue to inspire generations. Her legacy lives on.

Before there was a Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, there was a young lawyer fighting for justice in the courtroom. He was the legal powerhouse behind Brown v. Board of Education (1954)—the case that ended segregation in schools and changed America forever.

🖊️ First Black Supreme Court Justice (1967-1991)
⚖️ Founder of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund
📜 Overturned 29 out of 32 Supreme Court cases

Marshall didn’t just fight for justice—he embodied it. His work paved the way for civil rights, equality, and a fairer legal system that still impacts us today.

Honoring Frederick Douglass

Abolitionist. Orator. Writer. Freedom Fighter.

Born into slavery, Frederick Douglass defied all odds to become one of the most powerful voices for justice and equality. His autobiography, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, exposed the brutal reality of slavery and became a cornerstone of the abolitionist movement.

Douglass believed in the power of education, self-determination, and activism, famously stating:
“If there is no struggle, there is no progress.”

His legacy continues to inspire those fighting for justice today. Let’s honor his impact and keep his message alive!
