On April 20, 2026, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Beta Mu Chapter proudly hosted our Cultivating Change: Know Your Rights event as part of our Advocate For Social Justice Initiative. 💗⚖️✨
 
With special guest speaker Attorney Lillian Diallo, students at Wayne State University gained valuable insight into understanding their rights, speaking up with confidence, and using their voices in critical situations. Through meaningful discussion and engaging conversation, attendees left feeling empowered, informed, and better equipped to advocate for themselves and their communities 🌟📚⚖️
 
This event served as a powerful reminder that knowledge is power, and collective advocacy creates lasting change. 💕💚✊🏾

Celebrating 90 years of The Bold & Beautiful Beta Mu Chapter, an enduring legacy of sisterhood, service, and excellence since April 3, 1936. Founded on the campus of Wayne University (now Wayne State University) by eight trailblazing women, Beta Mu has continued to thrive as a chapter rooted in purpose, grace, and impact.

For nine decades, generations of women have carried this legacy forward, each leaving their mark while upholding the standard of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. As we honor our past, we celebrate the strength of our present and the promise of our future, 90 years strong and still growing.
