The women's soccer inaugural season is off to a perfect start! 🔰

DETROIT -- In the first-ever home match for the Wayne State University women's soccer program (3-0 overall), the Warriors notched a 4-0 triumph over the visiting Ohio Dominican Panthers (1-1 overall) at the WSU Soccer Complex.

Wayne State is taking the stage at the 47th annual Detroit Jazz Festival to celebrate music that moves the soul. The world's largest free jazz festival will also coincide with the grand opening of Dee Dee Bridgewater's Jazz Club on Wayne State's campus, named after the Grammy and Tony Award-winning jazz vocalist.

We just made history!

This fall, we are celebrating our largest first-year class in Wayne State University's history. Approximately 7,000 new Warriors joined our student body and more than half are first-generation college students. This achievement highlights our role as an engine for social mobility and opportunity.
