Our world-renown faculty conducts cutting edge research in the areas of: Applied Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology, Biomedical Physics, Condensed Matter and Materials Physics, Optics, Nuclear Physics, and Particle Physics. As part of our undergraduate β€œhonors” program, you may participate in these areas of research with a faculty mentor. In addition, each summer many undergraduates are paid to participate in research projects through the Research Experience for Undergraduates program funded by the National Science Foundation.

Good morning Warriors and welcome to the second to last week of the semester! We have some exciting speaking events lined up for you this week. On Wednesday the 22nd Dr. Laura Havener will be joining us at 2:45pm in room 312 for a pan seminar on Quark-Gluon Plasma. Then on Thursday the 23rd our very own Dr. Emily Strickland is hosting this week's colloquium about gaps, both in galaxy mass observations and student understanding of these concepts. Dr Strickland's colloquium will be held at 3:45pm in room 245. We hope to see you at both of these events!
