Wayne State University's student SHRM chapter was established in 2013. After a brief hiatus, the chapter is growing quickly and becoming a prominent student organization. We are always looking for new members to help us with events and to take advantage of the benefits that come with being a member of SHRM. Benefits include networking opportunities, internship opportunities, community service, wor

kshops, access to research materials on the SHRM sites, webinars, discounted admission to events and conferences, and much more. Essential for students that would like to prepare themselves for post graduation job searching. If you would like to be a member, visit the National SHRM page (www.shrm.org) and register as a student member for a $40/yr fee. Once you have acquired your member number, visit the Michigan SHRM page (www.mishrm.org) and register with the Detroit chapter for no cost. To ensure you are included in the WSU chapter e-mails, send your member number to [email protected] and you will be kept informed of all events and meetings.
