Ntozake Shange’s “For colored girls who have considered su***de / when the rainbow is enuf” is a raw, powerful exploration of Black womanhood, resilience, and healing. Bringing this story to life requires immense vulnerability. We asked the cast, stage manager, and director of this FTC PAC production to reflect on the impact it had on them and how deeply these roles resonated with the cast beyond the stage.

Through emotional monologues and expressive movement, the production tackles complex themes of identity and sisterhood. Working with such vital material allowed the actors to find personal empowerment through the shared power of storytelling.

A production of this magnitude is a true collective effort. A sincere thank you to the entire cast and crew for the artistry, dedication, and heart brought to this performance.👏🙌
