Spend the week getting ready for the Speed Networking Career Fair on Thursday, November 5. Stop by for resume reviews, career strategy, outfit planning, a virtual workshop on telling your story and more.

Then put it all into practice at the Career Fair, where employers will be recruiting for internships, part-time jobs and full-time roles.

Mercy University’s Women Soccer Team are ECC Regular Season Champions! 🏆🙌💙

Huge congratulations to our Women’s Soccer Team who secured their second consecutive East Coast Conference Regular Season Championship this past weekend with a 3-1 win against the College of Staten Island.

Our Mavericks begin their quest for the ECC Championship at this Saturday’s semi-final matchup!

Take a look back at the energy, creativity, and community from our recent kickoff event for the Art Exchange at Mercy University (ArtEx). ArtEx is meant to serve as a vibrant cultural hub for the River Towns and surrounding communities, fostering connections between the university and the broader Westchester region through arts programming and community engagement.

Our launch was just the beginning of making collaborative artistic engagement a cornerstone of the Mercy student experience.

We are excited to keep this momentum going! Stay tuned as we kick off an upcoming film screening series starting this November.

Mercy University has been awarded a four-year, $1.68 million federal Nursing Workforce Development grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HHS to help address critical shortages in primary care and psychiatric healthcare across the NY metro area.

This funding will support our initiative "Increasing Enrollment and Retention of Family and Psych-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners," empowering graduate nursing students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds to complete their advanced degrees and deliver essential healthcare to the communities that need it most.

This is an investment in the future of healthcare equity and access for our region.

Open House season has begun at Mercy University!

This past Saturday, we welcomed hundreds of prospective Mavs to our Westchester campus for their first glimpse of the Mercy life 🐴💙 High school juniors and seniors spent the morning learning about the academic resources, campus culture, and support system waiting for them at Mercy.

The afternoon was filled with interactive faculty-led academic sessions, conversations student clubs and resources, campus tours, seasonal treats, Power 105.1-mixed beats, exclusive Open House merch, and grand prize giveaways.

We had a blast taking the next generation of behind-the-scenes, and we can’t wait to do all again on November 7th!

Our first Westchester Open House: Complete ✅

After an engaging opening program and interactive academic sessions, our future Mavericks spent the afternoon in the Pavilion enjoying fall-themed treats, touring our beautiful campus, swapping custom pins, and hanging out with The Mav. We even gave away MacBook Neos to two lucky winners!

We had a blast welcoming prospective students and we can’t wait to do it all again in November!

As we begin to brace ourselves for the autumn chill, we’re commemorating this with a look back at a summer tradition going five years strong.

This past summer, Mercy University’s Music Production and Recording Arts Program returned to Barley Beach House in Rye for Beach Sessions, The Peak 107.1’s yearly free concert series that brings stand-out artists to Westchester audiences. Led by Mercy Music Studios Associate Director Sam Stauff, our students gained real-world experience preparing complex stage setups and engineering live sound for unforgettable shoreside performances.

At Mercy, we are committed to providing our students with hands-on learning opportunities on their paths towards fulfilling careers. This ongoing collaboration is just one of the many ways we stay true to that mission while building invaluable relationships with our local community.
