We get started on day three of the NJCAA D2 Championship this morning at 10:12 central time. After the first two days, we are in a three-way tie for seventh place at 19 over, 16 strokes behind the leader, Murray State College (Oklahoma).

THE GOVS ARE CLIMBING THE LEADERBOARD
At the midpoint of the NJCAA D2 Men's Golf Championship, the Wallace Community College Govs are in a three-way tie for seventh place at +19. Murray State College (Oklahoma) leads the field at +3.

Grayson Lozano (Sophomore, Marianna FL) is at even par through two rounds and tied for seventh place in the individual standings.He trails the leader from Murray State by seven strokes. Trenton Ables (Sophomore, Wicksburg AL) is tied for nineteenth place at +3, ten strokes off the lead.

The Govs start round three on Thursday morning at 10:12 AM CENTRAL when Ian Senn (Freshman, Ariton AL) tees off. Temperature at tee time should be around 55 degrees and we should reach a high in the upper 60s.

After shooting three strokes better today than yesterday, the team is getting some putting practice in before dinner.

Govs are in 8th place (out of 24 teams) after Day One at the NJCAA D2 Championship in Plymouth, Indiana. Grayson Lozano is tied for 5th place individually at 3 under par.

Ian Senn will get us started on Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM eastern followed by Alex Broadaway at 8:39 AM. Grayson Lozano will tee off at 8:48 AM then Cooper Weeks at 8:57 AM. Trenton Ables will be our final golfer of the day. He will take the first tee at 9:06 AM.
