Join us on June 5th!

Join us for a Rally at Delaware Legislative Hall on Friday June 5th at 12pm, as we formally introduce the John Lewis Voting Rights Act for Delaware. This landmark legislation represents a critical step toward ensuring fair, accessible, and protected voting for all eligible residents, and your support will be critical. The Rally will coincide with the filing of the Act, as it begins the legislative process.

We are gathering to send a clear message: Delaware supports strong voting protections and will not stand by while the right to vote is threatened or suppressed. All are welcome. This is a peaceful, public rally open to community members, advocates, faith leaders, students, and anyone who believes every vote must count. We'll be joined by co-sponsor Sen. Marie Pinkney, ACLU of Delaware, The Legal Defense Fund, NAACP of Delaware, League of Women Voters of DE and more!

Midterm elections are not “small” elections — they shape our schools, healthcare, criminal justice policies, economic opportunities, voting rights, and the future of our communities. Every ballot cast is a voice for equity, representation, and progress.

The African American community has always turned pain into power and advocacy into action. Our ancestors marched, organized, sacrificed, and fought for the right to vote. We honor that legacy every time we show up at the polls informed, engaged, and ready to make an impact.

This is our moment to mobilize. Check your registration. Make a plan. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Our voices matter. Our votes matter. Our future depends on it.

🌍✨ BIG VISION. BIGGER THAN BORDERS. ✨🌍

As communities, schools, and organizations work to understand the changing expectations and opportunities connected to the “Big Beautiful Bill,” OUTLOUD is already preparing the next generation to lead in a globally connected world.

The Global Neighborhood Fellowship is designed to help young leaders build the leadership, workforce, civic engagement, and cross-cultural collaboration skills needed for the future, not just locally, but globally. 🌎🤝

While others are trying to catch up, our youth are getting ahead through:

✔️ Global peer collaboration
✔️ Real-world service learning projects
✔️ Leadership and workforce development
✔️ Civic engagement and community impact
✔️ Structured, trackable service hours

This fellowship is for young people who are ready to think bigger, lead boldly, and build solutions that create lasting change in their communities and beyond. 🔥

ANNOUNCEMENT: I've been named co-chair of the Delaware Future Caucus - formerly Millennial Action Project alongside State Representative Mike Smith.

"Since being elected in 2018, Senator Darius Brown has built a reputation as one of Delaware’s leading voices on criminal justice reform and economic opportunity, helping advance landmark bipartisan legislation like the Clean Slate Act and Adult Expungement Reform Act. As chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a Future Caucus Criminal Justice Innovation Fellow, he’s shown what bold, solutions-oriented leadership can look like in practice. We’re excited for what’s ahead in Delaware."
