This week is our OT-III, Lia! Her research project focused on addressing occupational therapy practitioner burnout in the upper extremity specialization.

Dr. Emily Simpson and Dr. Monika Robinson presented their research on a housing management intervention for young people experiencing homelessness at the Home Illinois Summit in Springfield, IL. This event brought together advocates, service providers, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience from across Illinois to collaborate on innovative, community-driven solutions to homelessness.

This week is our OT-III Leigh! She worked with BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding and Education Center to develop a standardized framework for measuring functional outcomes and quality of life improvement associated with equine-assisted therapies, helping support evidence-based practice and future program growth.
