*****DIVERSE BOOK DRIVE*****
Students in the GWS Applied Feminisms course have organized a book drive to collect children and youth books by diverse authors and/or that feature characters and themes about diverse communities. Given the current attacks on CRT and LGBTQ+ communities and calls for book banning, diversity in books is all the more important.
The books will be donated to a predominantly BIPOC school in the Twin Cities. See the info below on what kinds of books are needed and where to purchase/donate.
