Railroad Earth—ATL

A creative community for over 20 years... Railroad Earth-ATL, since 1997, has been a residence, production facility, art & music venue, and community hub.

It was founded to facilitate the cross-pollination of art, music, science, technology, performance, the humanities, and living. It’s has been known as a “parallel university.”

We believe that the over-specialization that has occurred in the last 150 years is unnatural to the human condition, and we all make our best attempts to be “deep generalists,” polymathic, and beautifully distracted.
