Congratulations to the latest graduates of TC3's Certified Nursing Assistant program! 🎉 🎓 🩺

Led by TC3 nursing faculty Barbara Moose and Melissa Vorhis, eight students completed the intensive three-week training and are now eligible to take the New York State Certification Exam and enter a career in healthcare.

Several TC3 students had the experience of a lifetime, taking part in a study abroad trip to Costa Rica. Fourteen students just returned from nearly two weeks in the Central American nation, the culmination of a semester of studying and preparation for the trip.

Biology Professor Kelly Wessell led the classes and the trip, partnering with educators in Costa Rica to provide students an amazing educational and cultural experience.

We have amazing alumni all over the world, and this year at commencement we honored two of them with the annual Distinguished Alumni Award. Martha Hubbard ('75) and Robert Pitman ('89) were recognized for their exemplary careers and service to the community. Hubbard worked in workforce development and adult education for more than 30 years at SUNY Cortland and TC3; Pitman has worked more than 30 years in law enforcement, serving as the Chief of Police in Homer for the last ten. 🎉 👍 👩‍🎓

Jasmine LaMontain, associate professor and coordinator of laboratory technologies, has been named the TC3 Employee of the Month for May 2026. 🎉🌟
LaMontain was praised for always making time for everyone, even though she is consistently pulled in many directions. She connects with students, making everyone at ease while building strong relationships. Her true dedication to students and the College make her a role model for both students and colleagues alike.
