Mental Health/Therapy Resource through UGA - tele-health (online) appointments available:
The Love and Money Center at UGA is now accepting new telehealth therapy clients — would you please help us spread the word by sharing with the Extension agents? Now that we are able to expand our telehealth services, we would really like to be a resource for more rural communities.
Here are the details:
SERVICES
- Individual, couple, and family therapy
- In-person sessions (Athens, GA) and telehealth throughout the state of Georgia
- Open to anyone (no UGA affiliation required)
FEES
- Sliding scale based on annual household net income, ranging from $15 to $75 per session (financial hardship fee reductions available upon request)
- We do not accept insurance
HOURS
- Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
LOCATION
- McPhaul Center, 202 Carlton St., Athens, GA 30602
- Free parking available in Lot S10
Please note: We offer talk therapy only and do not provide psychological or developmental testing, custody evaluations, medication management, or drug and alcohol treatment.
