This is our design for our chess playing robot. The robot uses a gantry crane system to move its claw on the chess board to pick up and drop game pieces. Great job to the chess playing robot team for designing this.

Stay tuned for more!

Everyone, we had a great turnout again for the second time, so thanks for your support. We hope those of you who made it had an enjoyable learning experience as well as a chance to get to know your fellow IEEE members better. Take a look at what went on, and continue to make Duke IEEE an awesome place to work on projects.

Hi everyone!

Duke IEEE (http://sites.duke.edu/ieee/) is composed of a talented group of students passionate about developing awesome electronic projects. We've got a ton of great projects planned for this year, like hipster clocks and battle bots! Come to our info meeting on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2 PM to learn more about us and how you can get involved. The room we are meeting in is a bit out of the way, so plan on meeting in the front lobby of Hudson Hall.

Hope you are all enjoying your first week of classes!
