Our UNH Mcnair Scholars Program participants are in *very* great hands!

The McNair Program is thrilled to announce we have a new Associate Director! Meet Danelis Ajaezi. Danelis graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNH and then went on to get her master's degree in Sociology from Syracuse University. She has experience working with the UNH TRIO Scholars (SSS) Program for 5 years and has worked as a Nutritional Host/Counselor for St. Joseph Hospital and done program coordination for non-profit community organizations. While earning her B.A., she was a participant of TRIO Student Support Services and the McNair Scholars Program. She is passionate about closing the gap of accessibility to higher education for historically underrepresented communities. A big part of this passion comes from her own background and knowing the importance of support and mentorship. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, and practicing how to be more present day to day.

Please join us in welcoming Danelis to the McNair team! We are so happy to have her! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘‹๐ŸŽ‰
