Rocky Mount called Denturecare and Implant Solutions.
They have started the process of modernizing the practice into an implant and technology driven practice, while still offering traditional removeable prosthetics.
We have now gotten to the point that we are going to start a dedicated/separate digital lab for the restoration of the increasing volume of implant (mostly full arch) cases.
Our technology includes CBCT radiography, intraoral scanners, Lab scanners, multiple 3D printers, facial scanners, photogrammetry, smile design and surgical planning programs and soon a milling machine. It is their intent to be one of the premier locations to have full arch restoration done in NC. They arecurrently also teaching these procedures to other dentists in weeklong courses at 3D Dentists based out of Raleigh and Nashville TN.

We have always had an analog onsite lab for the fabrication of our removeable products. We will continue that. On the digital side, they have been teaching themselves the laboratory side of design and printing, but it has now come to the point that they are investing in this separate, technology based, digital lab. They feel they have 3 choices on how to proceed.
1) Train someone internally
2) Hire someone with the background knowledge, such as one of your graduating students and train them, or
3) Hire someone already well versed in digital lab procedures that can hit the ground running.
