❤️🖤 **Spreading Smiles, Sharing Joy, and Serving with Love!** 🖤❤️

The Dyersburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly collected goodies for the residents of Oakwood Community Living Center, and Sorors Selina Williams and Vicki Glass Boyd graciously delivered these special treats on behalf of the chapter.

While the staff was incredibly appreciative of the thoughtful donations, the true highlight of the visit was seeing the smiles, excitement, and pure joy on the faces of the residents. Their warm welcomes, grateful hearts, and bright expressions reminded us that even the simplest acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.

Moments like these are what service is all about bringing happiness, creating connections, and letting others know they are remembered, valued, and loved.

Together, we continue to uplift our community, one smile at a time!

Pastor Jones and his committee had a vision, and through faith, prayer, dedication, and persistence, that vision became a powerful reality! What an absolutely WONDERFUL and BLESSED day at the Unity Festival in Lauderdale County!

The Dyersburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was honored to serve the community in impactful ways throughout the day. We proudly shared vital information and resources focused on Mental Health awareness, ensuring families received hotline numbers and access to important community support services.

We were also excited to sign children up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, helping plant seeds of literacy and a lifelong love for reading in our future leaders. In addition, we worked diligently to empower our community through voter registration efforts making sure citizens were not only registered to vote, but fully understood the importance of using their voice at the polls. Every vote matters, and every voice deserves to be heard!

This was more than an event, it was a day filled with unity, service, empowerment, love, and purpose. Seeing the community come together in such a positive and uplifting way was truly inspiring.

An AMAZING, IMPACTFUL, and POWERFUL day of service and sisterhood!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the phenomenal charter members as you begin this powerful new chapter of sisterhood, service, scholarship, and leadership. Your dedication and commitment have already made an impact, and we are honored to witness this moment in history.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Motherhood is a journey where the days feel long and the years are short, yet the love poured into each moment leaves an imprint that lasts a lifetime.

Today we honor our beautiful mothers — those who guide our steps, watch ahead for danger, and pour themselves into others without hesitation. From mothers by birth to grandmothers, godmothers, and every mother figure who stands in the gap, your love is the foundation upon which we stand.

We also hold space for our sisters experiencing the complexity of joy and grief on this day. For those navigating their own experience of becoming a mother, and those missing the presence of theirs — we see you, we are you, and we love you.

To God be the Glory for such a Blessed Occasion today!!! What a mighty move of God we experienced — we truly had a Hallelujah good time today! Our hearts were lifted, our spirits were ignited, and our souls were filled beyond measure!

The day began with some delicious physical food prepared by none other than Chef Tommy Overstreet. As we gathered around the table, we shared laughter, love, and sweet fellowship with one another. But after the natural food came the Spiritual Food!!!

Worship Leader Rhonda Emery set the atmosphere and helped prepare the way for a Powerful Word about, "Faith" brought forth by Pastor Cassandra Parker. The Word was rich, uplifting, soul-stirring, and not only did it give us something to think about, it gave something to be about. Heaven smiled on us today, and the presence of the Lord surely met us in the room!

We were also honored to celebrate and bless some outstanding High School Seniors as they prepare to walk boldly into their next season. These bright young leaders were awarded scholarships to help them continue their educational journeys, and some are already excelling by taking college classes while still in high school. We are so proud of them!

And last but certainly not least, we had the privilege of honoring a phenomenal woman in our community. The 2026 Mother of the Year Award was presented to none other than Lady Latonia Jackson! Her love, dedication, grace, and service continue to inspire so many.

Today was filled with joy, worship, celebration, and blessings overflowing! We laughed, we praised, we honored, and we rejoiced together. Truly, this was a day to remember!
