This year, 64 high school seniors from 27 Rhode Island schools and one Massachusetts school completed college coursework at NEIT while still enrolled in high school. Together, they earned more than 3,600 college credits, and 90% of graduates will continue into postsecondary education.

Welding Engineering 2026 NEIT GRAD, Cameron Conway chose NEIT for something he couldn’t find anywhere else — a true degree in welding.

While most programs offered short-term certifications, Cameron was looking for more. He wanted depth, not just the basics and after touring campus, he knew NEIT was the place to get it.

Through hands-on learning and in-depth instruction from his professors, Cameron didn’t just learn how to weld, he really understood the “why” behind it. From metallurgy and the sciences behind welding, his learning carried directly into his internship at A/Z Corp, where he applied his skills in a real world setting.

Now, he is continuing his education at NEIT to earn his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management while working a full-time as a Project Controls Associate.

Congratulations, Cameron! 🐯💙🎓

2026 NEIT GRAD, Alexis Mason is ready to step into her career as a Graphic Designer.

She originally started in another program, but she quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit. With guidance from a professor who suggested Graphic Design, she made the switch — and hasn’t looked back since.

During her time at NEIT, Alexis appreciated the wide availability and access to industry-standard software and stock resources, which helped spark her curiosity and build confidence in her work.

She says, “Even just working on class projects and capstone assignments, I felt like I was already in the field. I was learning every step to follow, from brainstorming to sketching, to creating mockups and even building pitch decks and invoices.”

These are the skills that helped her feel prepared to step into her next chapter.

Congratulations, Alexis!🐯💙🎓

2026 NEIT GRAD, Anthony Benevides never thought he’d be earning his bachelor's degree.

He started his associates at NEIT in Electrical Technology and towards the end of the program he realized he wanted to learn more. He was looking for more challenge and more understanding of how things really work.

What really made a difference was NEIT’s hands-on approach. Being able to test, troubleshoot, and see things work in real time brought back a level of motivation to learn that he hadn’t felt before. For the first time, learning didn’t feel forced.

Now, he’s graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and pushing himself to understand every machine he works with, with the goal of one day programming and controlling them himself.

Congratulations, Anthony!🐯🎓💙
