Yesterday, we celebrated the grand opening of Goodwin University’s Nursing Simulation Center! 💙

This state-of-the-art facility will provide immersive, hands-on learning experiences for RN, BSN, and MSN students—preparing them to meet the evolving needs of today’s healthcare environment.

We’re deeply grateful to our generous supporters, including the Ted Kaplan and Bobbie Woronow Family, Judith and Frank Resnick, and the many partners who made this vision a reality.

As part of our medical sciences unit, CTRA 8th grade scholars had the incredible opportunity to learn from Joselyn Gutierrez, a dedicated cardiac nurse who shared insights into her career and experiences in nursing.

Ms. Gutierrez—a Goodwin University graduate, CTRA HS mentor, and proud parent of RMS and CTRA scholars—helped students explore the complexities of the heart and better understand what may be happening in our "patient", Marc, in class. Scholars made meaningful connections and are getting closer to solving the case and helping to “save” their patient!
