For day 3 of PFAS Awareness Week, we are sharing two infographics highlighting the Eat Safe Fish Guide from Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The first graphic was created by Deil Manliclic, a PhD student in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. The second graphic was created by Hannah Gill and Sarah Menzl, both of whom are master’s students in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.

PFAS refers to a group of man made chemicals. There are over 15,000 different type of chemicals that are used in everyday products, but in recent years have been found to be harmful. Research and policy changes are constantly evolving.
