The HUB would like to extend a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our collaborator and friend, Dr. Tamara Reid Bush on her appointment as Interim Chair for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.. On top of being a super-fantastic person to work with, Dr.Bush has been recognized for her leadership in not only research, but also in efforts to enhance diversity and accessibility. She was a co-PI on the NSF ADVANCE grant that among other changes at MSU, established the position of Faculty Excellence Advocate, a position she now holds in the College. She was the 2018 Inspirational Woman of the Year. And more recently, has received the 2020 Founders Award from the American Society of Biomechanics in recognition of her significant research contributions to the technical area of biomechanics. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!
