We love introducing new students to research through our ASPET Summer Undergraduate Research Program. We love it even more when their hard work turns into publications. With their first research talks in the bag, our second-year PhD students are officially ready to take on all the challenges a PhD brings. We are super proud of them and can't wait to see where their research takes them and see the great things they will do. If all goes well, this group will become doctors in 2030/2031.

In Pharm Tox, we are committed to developing shared facilities that expand research opportunities for our team. Our new cell culture core is a great example of this teamwork. This core was specifically designed to facilitate research using organoids and stem cells. Huge thanks to Heather DeFeijter-Rupp, the College of Human Medicine, the Department of Medicine, and several faculty members for helping to make this happen. We can’t wait to see the research this facilitates.
