Get a used bike tomorrow at Surplus!

*1:50PM update: there’s only about 30 (of 400+) bikes left and are in need of repairs*

The bikes have arrived for our annual sale tomorrow! Bikes will be $40 each and available 9am - 3:30pm on May 28 and again for our regular Friday public sale. (Thursday JUST bikes will be for sale)

Looking for just a part? Bring your tools, as scrap parts will be $1/lb

This week we attended the Michigan Recycling Coalition annual conference in Kalamazoo! Staff attended sessions, spoke on panels, met the Recycling Raccoons, and volunteered at the ValleyHUB KVCC.

The Ingham County Health Department Household Hazardous Waste collection has begun for 2026! This free program for county residents is available 2-6pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays through September.
