After more than 50 years at MSU Libraries, the Hackley & Hume family and business records have been returned to Muskegon. 💚📚

The collection, which spans nearly a century of Michigan history, includes financial records, photographs, maps and more documenting the lives and legacy of two influential Muskegon families. The materials will now become part of the permanent collection at the Muskegon Museum of History & Science, where they will support future research, restoration work and public programming.

Help preserve an important piece of MSU history. 💚📚

MSU Libraries is working to digitize the Grapevine Journal, a groundbreaking student publication founded in 1971 that amplified Black student voices and documented campus and community life during a pivotal moment in history.

This project will help make the publication more accessible for research, teaching and future generations of Spartans.

Support the digitization effort and help preserve these stories for years to come!
