In an effort to promote a greater representation of students from racial, ethnic and socioeconomic minorities in MSU’s College of Human Medicine, Elahe Crockett, an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, has created a program for underrepresented students, known as the Research Program to Increase Diversity in Health Researchers. Development & NGOs: Internships in Malawi Information Session

November 2, 5pm International Center Room 204

This program is a cooperative venture among MSU College of Social Science, Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the MSU's Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) which allows students the opportunity to receive academic credit while participating in an internship with a non-governmental organization (NGO) in order to understand and critique development processes through the lens of an NGO in Malawi.
