Most newborns receive a hearing test before leaving the hospital. Nicole Talge, PhD, is studying whether those tests could help signal early risk of autism spectrum disorder.

Hope that everyone is having a great summer!

We wanted to let you know that our friends at the PLAY'D Lab at MSU (https://education.msu.edu/kin/playdlab/) are enrolling middle school or high school-aged children with autism spectrum disorder or a physical disability in their FREE summer/fall physical activity and nutrition program!

They will offer in-person exercise and nutrition sessions once a week for 10 weeks and will provide the exercise equipment (which you can keep when finished) and groceries.

We wanted to draw your attention to an opportunity to join Project ImPACT at Michigan State University. Project ImPACT is an evidence-based and effective training program for parents tha supports social communication skill development among children with ASD and/or social communication challenges. Participation can be either in-person at MSU (East Lansing) or online.
