A huge thank you to Savannah Holcombe for all her hard work this past year as lab manager for the MSUFAL. Savannah not only helped manage case work in the lab but also oversaw undergraduate volunteers, worked on two conference presentations, and recently had an article published. Great job Savannah!

MSUFAL graduate student Savannah Holcombe and Dr. Joe Hefner have just published their research assessing sexual dimorphism of the scapula utilizing geometric morphometric analyses. This article is a culmination of work that Savannah started during her time as an undergraduate as a Dean’s Assistant for Dr. Hefner in the MSUFAL and as a Master’s student at Mercyhurst University.
