As the semester comes to an end the MSU Spanish Club wishes everyone a safe and fun summer! We thank everyone who was part of the Spanish Club this year and for those of you who are graduating, we wish you much success in the future! Be sure to check us out in fall for more fun cultural events! ¡Nos vemos!

Hola! Tomorrow, Monday April 17, is Spanish Club Elections and End of the Year Fiesta! We are meeting in A230 Wells Hall from 6-7pm and there will be tacos! There has been a slight change to the open positions and the updates have been made below. We encourage anyone with an interest to run for a position. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions! :) Nos vemos manana!

Open positions:
----Vice President- assist presidents with their duties and fill-in for presidents when needed, take photos at club events and post photos on social media **must have smartphone or camera**
----Secretary-sends out weekly e-mails about events, takes attendance, responds to e-mails
----Treasurer - in charge of the club's funds, member dues, and working with event chair to organize fundraisers. Responsible for buying food for each meeting and reimbursing members who purchase supplies for the club. **Must have a car**
----Event Chair- facilitate club events decided by the board, coordinate with faculty to make the events happen, choose and reserve location. This would include working with the treasurer to execute fundraisers.
----Publicist-post on social media (Facebook, Twitter) weekly and advertise club meetings.

Join the MSU Spanish Club tonight for our Noche de Película! We will be watching El Orfanato (The Orphanage) at 6pm in the presentation space/staircase room in Wells hall (take the B wing stairs to the second floor, turn right, walk down the end of the hall and the room is on the left). There will be drinks and popcorn!

As we settle back into classes we invite you all to come help support the MSU Spanish club and enjoy some great food at our fundraiser tomorrow Tuesday, March 14 at Panda Express on Grand River from 2-10pm! Must show flyer below to cashier to help support the club.

¡Vámanos a bailar! Join the MSU Spanish Club on Monday, Feb. 20 from 6-7pm in the lounge area on the second floor of the B wing of Wells Hall for a Mambo lesson taught by the MSU Ballroom Dance Team! No partner or previous dance experience necessary. ¡Hasta luego!
