McAdoo Dissertation Award winner; and Teresa Rivera was selected for the 2025-26 John & Ruth Useem Endowment Award.

Graduating senior Kaylin Casper received the Richard Lee Featherstone Endowed Prize, MSU's top honor for a graduating senior, and the College of Arts & Letters' Outstanding Senior Achievement Award. Both awards recognize Casper's creative thinking, intellectual ingenuity, service and leadership, and exceptional character.

Casper graduated this May with a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Humanities-Prelaw. She also has an additional major in Women’s and Gender Studies and a minor in American Indian and Indigenous Studies

Kaylin Casper, winner of the 2026 Featherstone Award, was officially presented with the award by MSU Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education Mark Largent. Casper graduates with degrees in sociology, humanities - prelaw and women’s & gender studies, with minors in American Indian & Indigenous Studies, le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, q***r and sexuality studies and peace and justice studies.
