The Quilt Index is a research platform and laboratory built around an international digital library of a massive and continually expanding collection of thematic material culture digital photographs, texts (oral, video, and written), and documents. The Quilt Index aims to provide digital preservation of and searchable access to quilts, stories about quilts and their makers, and to related quilt hi

story resources and to serve as a basis for a wide range of scientific, humanistic, scholarly, educational, and artistic investigations and applications.
