The MSU MAP Project is studying how children’s thought processes relate to their brain activity and how this relates to parenting behaviors and attitudes. This project is funded by the Fuller Theological Seminary/Thrive Center in concert with the John Templeton Foundation. We are currently looking for children ages 6-8 and their parents to participate. As a kid scientist, your child will:

- Play

a series of fun thinking games with one of our friendly researchers
- Play a fun computer game while their brain activity is measured using an electroencephalogram (EEG)
- Learn about how scientists study the mind
- Know that they were part of an important research project
- Receive a $50 gift card to the store of your choice, in addition to a variety of small gifts and a certificate

As a parent, you will:

- Complete written questionnaires regarding your attitudes and behaviors
- Be able to observe your child during the entire visit
- Contribute to research
