Earth. Wind. Fire. Water. Explore nature’s four elements through art! No prior art experience needed. As much as possible, we will take opportunities to be outside (as weather allows) and light walking around campus will be involved.

Happy Harvey Milk Day! Harvey Milk was one of the first openly gay public officials in the United States. Harvey Milk said , "It takes no compromise to give people their rights. It takes no money to respect the individual. It takes no political deal to give people freedom. It takes no survey to remove repression.” Everyone deserves respect, freedom and acceptance.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. A safety plan is a list of coping strategies, supports, and resources for you to use when you are in crisis or having thoughts of su***de. Creating a safety plan to prepare for times when you might be in crisis can be helpful.
Here are some steps to design your own safety plan.
1. Write down what is important to you.
2. What are warning signs a crisis might be developing? Think about your thoughts, situations or behaviors that arise when you notice these intense feelings.
3. Coping skills you enjoy doing alone.
4. Friends or Family you can ask for help.
5. Professionals you can contact.
You are not alone in this. MSU Center for Survivors is always here for you. Reach us at our 24/7 Crisis Hotline: 517-372-6666 or our crisis chat from 10am-10pm at Centerforsurvivors.msu.edu
If you are having thoughts of su***de, please text or call the National Su***de & Crisis Lifeline at 988. If this is a life threatening emergency, or you are unable to keep yourself safe, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
