Three Spartans. Three national awards. One historic achievement.

Spartans from MSU's Department of Kinesiology earned the three Student Awards from the American Kinesiology Association in a single awards cycle, marking a first for Michigan State University and the organization.

How much does it cost to become a teacher?

New research from MSU's Education Policy Innovation Collaborative (EPIC) found that aspiring teachers complete more coursework, carry heavier course loads and spend thousands more on tuition than many of their peers pursuing other bachelor's degrees. The findings underscore both the rigor of teacher preparation and the importance of programs that help reduce financial barriers for future educators.
