Rethink what you buy. Reuse what you have. Reduce what you throw away.

For Zero Waste Week, consider a simple approach to everyday consumption:

If you don’t need something, don’t buy it. If you already have it, keep using it for as long as it’s useful. And when it’s no longer usable, consider the best way to reuse, donate, recycle or dispose of it responsibly.

You don’t have to make a big change to make a difference. Start with one small choice.

This summer, IPF teams helped bring bronze cow sculptures to the entrance of MSU Dairy Cattle Teaching and Research Center along College Road. What looks like a simple installation actually took careful planning, specialized equipment and several IPF teams working together to safely move and position the large sculptures.

The sculptures are a fitting welcome to a facility that celebrates MSU's longstanding connection to agriculture and animal science; and they're just one of the unexpected ways our teams help bring campus to life.

Want to see more? Take a virtual tour of the Dairy Cattle Teaching and Research Center, check out the cows' arrival, and read the story behind their new home.

Farm Lane is now open! 🚧

After a summer of construction and detours, we're excited to share that Farm Lane has reopened to traffic. The remaining campus road construction projects are also expected to wrap up by Aug. 25, helping restore normal traffic flow across campus.

Before heading to campus, check our detours map for the latest information on road closures, traffic impacts and alternate routes. https://apps.gis.msu.edu/construction/closures-and-detours/
