Northport Middle School Future-Focused Teacher Nick Raio has been named a 2026 Bright Light by ASSET in recognition of his dedication to supporting students and staff through innovative technology integration.

Raio was selected by Northport-East Northport Executive Director of Technology David Leis on behalf of the 2025 2026 ASSET Executive Board and membership. The Bright Light distinction honors educators who demonstrate excellence and leadership in the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Raio was recognized at ASSET’s Annual Bright Light Luncheon on Friday, Jan. 23, at the Heritage Club in Bethpage. The event celebrated educators from across the region who are making a meaningful impact in their school communities.

Congratulations to Mr. Raio on this well-deserved recognition of his future-focused work in Northport-East Northport schools.
