For favorite songs of brothers Friday we choose 2 brothers who Ironically don’t have a favorite song, Brothers Louis Murphy and Markel Joy.

Brother Murphy has declared he does not have a favorite song due to the fact he likes all music. His love of music can range from a wide variety of Jazz, Classical, Rap, Pop, Rock, etc. According to him there had bever really been a genre of music he fails to dislike as it all has good parts and bad parts to him

Brother Joy has not chosen a favorite song either due to the fact that the music he listens to directly is influences his mood. He continuously has music for when he's happy such as pop or Jazz angry such as Rock or Meatle, and sad such as a ballad or the blues. Yes, he does have the music he just listens to but these pieces of music are a very large part of his life

These two are a perfect example of appreciating a wide spectrum of music. Such as the wide spectrum of emotion we all can appreciate music even if we prefer some over other

For flyer Friday We feature Dodge the Dark, An event put on by Edinboro Greek life where you can get a group of 8-10people above the age of 16 to register for a large scale dodgeball tournament. The entrance cost, as well as any other details you need, can be found with the link in the poster. All proceeds from this function will go to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Please come support us on March 22nd in the Zafirovski sports done as we attempt to bring a little light to the darkness of cancer.

For our who's who in sinfonia Wednesday we turn to our founder Brother Ossian Everett Mills. Our brothers official had recently celebrated the 164th anniversary of his birth by concentrating him with a summary of his life.
To summarize, Ossian had founded sinfonia 1897-1898 school year when he gathered a group of men for prayer on a weekly basis. Some of the men there had encouraged him to form the Sinfonia Club and have their first meeting on October 6th, 1898 where they elected him as the supreme president and regarded him with the title of founder of the organization. Mills had taken this position in heavy regard as he saw himself as in the business of making men. As his main goal to enrich the lives of brothers Mentally, Physically, and spiritually, ultimately making them more worthy than when they first came to enter.
The Ideals of Father mills still hold true as every brother be it younger or older sees his mission as making the man. Seeking to inspire our brothers to better themselves every day Phi Mu Alpha not only stands as many powerful members capable of making a change but a brotherhood capable of influencing minds and creating new pathways of the mind and spirit through the futuristic action only a true brotherhood could acheive

Fun fact for Tuesday (Post edit : flyer is not for current fundraiser)
Did you know one of the most time-honored traditions amongst a large portion of Phi Mu Alpha is the piano smash fundraiser? It may seem perplexing considering we are a music fraternity, but more often than not these piano’s are older and put out of commission by the person donating it. This also serves as an excellent way for this instrument that has brought pleasure and joy to others a way of doing one more good thing as the proceeds from said piano smash usually go to a chapter chosen charity

For today's favorite songs of brothers. We have Brothers Jared Wayman and Collin Allekson, both from our spring 2018 pledge class.

For his favorite song brother, Wayman picked ”Do I wanna know?” by the Arctic Monkeys. When asked why this was his favorite Jared can be quoted as saying ”My band called The Pecan Sandies in high school played that at our first gig”

For his favorite song Brother Allekson Chose this must be my place by the talking heads. When asked why this song was his favorite Collin can be quoted as saying ”I’ve always been a fan of Talking Heads and especially David Byrne, this song is probably their most chill piece.”

Be it for the past or be it for the present the music is what inspires Jared and Collin to move

For whos who in phi mu alpha Wednesday we feature brother Andy Griffith. Brother Griffith pledged our Alpha Rho chapter at the University of North Carolina. In his time as a brother, he actually became president of the Alpha Rho chapter before completely graduating with his bachelor in music. What many people don't know is the fact brother Griffith’s major wasn't always music, but instead he was studying to be a preacher beforehand. Brother Griffith had gone on after college to teach theatre at Goldsboro High in North Carolina.

Andy’s career had taken off when he had starred in Ira Levine’s no time for sergeant's where, as the New York Times describes him, he was irresistible once he appeared on camera. He had also appeared in the show Destry Rides Again before eventually going on to star in the classic Andy Griffith show where we know him today.
Brother Griffith is a classic example of a brother not expecting to become big but being one of the most memorable names in sinfonia there is

ITS THAT TIME AGAIN PEOPLE
Love is in the air and its time to smell the roses, taste those chocolates and now hear the singing With a singing valentine from the brothers of phi mu alpha. This week we will be tabling in pouge student center from 10 am to 5 pm where you can pay 5 dollars and have us sing our classic serenade to them and they receive a rose or for an extra 2 dollars they will also get a stuffed bear. Valentine, we are delivered this Friday at your discretion.
