The Ruby Sword of Honor or the Province Collegiate Leadership award is bestowed upon a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota who shows immense leadership, fraternity service and maintains a high level of scholarship. It is an honor to announce that Sister Mia Harvey is one of the recipients from Region VII. Mia served as chapter Vice President of Ritual for two terms, Treasurer for one and several committee chair positions such as fundraising, music and service. She received the Sword of Honor in 2020.
Mia graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications with a minor in leadership studies. She is now completing her masters in Communication Studies while working as the graduate assistant for the Highland Games. Mia was also elected as the Vice President of Programs for the Northeast district of Kappa Kappa Psi as well as President of the Nu Zeta chapter! We are so proud of her and cannot wait to see what she accomplishes as she affiliates with the SAI alumni association!
