Congratulations to Dominique on his new violin! A music performance major at UTRGV, he came in recently to upgrade and walked out with our newest model, the J. San Antonio bound! 🎻✨

We’re setting up an emergency repair booth at the TAME State Contest April 30 to May 2 to help students from all over Texas keep their instruments stage-ready. Snapped string? Bridge down? Bow trouble? Come find us, we’ve got you.

Huge congratulations to Christopher Gonzalez on his brand new cello outfit! An 8th grader at Morris Middle School under the direction of David Gutierrez, Christopher has already made his mark as a proud member of this year’s Region 15 Orchestra.

Watching young musicians like Christopher invest in their craft is what we love most. This cello is more than an instrument, it’s a companion for every scale, every rehearsal, and every moment he steps on stage.

Keep making us proud, Christopher. The best is yet to come.

We weren’t planning to order pastel cello cases. Then we saw the color samples and changed our minds.

The truth is, we already know which ones are going to move first. But we’d rather let you pick in person than guess for you.

🎻✨ Congratulations, Aileen!

We are so proud to welcome Aileen Ramos and her beautiful new violin to the Bosky Strings family!
Aileen is a junior at Riverside Arts Academy and a dedicated student of Alex Treviño II, and it’s clear she is going places. She was also selected to compete in voice at this year’s Tucson International Mariachi Conference.

A huge shoutout to her mom, Roxana, for making that 21-hour drive all the way from California to experience the mariachi programs here in South Texas. While here, Aileen took advantage of the opportunity to invest in a violin, and we are so glad she did! That kind of love and commitment to her daughter’s future makes all the difference.

Aileen plans to study music education and business, and honestly, we can’t wait to see everything she’s going to accomplish. The mariachi world is lucky to have her.

Good luck in Tucson, Aileen! Go show them what you’ve got!

What an incredible trip to Midland!

We made the drive up for the 20th Annual Mariachi Workshop hosted by the Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland. This year’s event featured the legendary Mariachi Cobre and was held at Midland College Campus.

We were honored to have members of Mariachi Cobre AND Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles stop by our booth to pick up supplies. Watching two world-class ensembles come together with one shared purpose, spreading the beauty of mariachi music, was something truly special to witness.

Had to drive back last night and wish we could have stayed longer, but other commitments called.
Already looking forward to next year!

Heads up! Bosky Strings will be closed March 4-7 while we head to Midland, Texas for the 20th Annual Mariachi Workshop.

Congratulations to Isabella Hernandez on her new violin!
Isabella is an 8th grader at Sharyland North Junior High who has set her sights on making her school’s mariachi next year. That’s no small goal, and she’s already putting in the work by starting violin lessons. That kind of dedication at her age is truly impressive.

Every great mariachi musician started with that first step by picking up their instrument and committing to the journey. Isabella has a long road ahead, but with the right guidance and a willingness to put in the practice, she’s well on her way.

We’re proud to be part of her journey and can’t wait to see where her music takes her. Best of luck, Isabella!
