Additionally, Cadet Palacios received an award from the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution for demonstrating academic excellence, strong character, military discipline, leadership, and fundamentals. This past weekend we wrapped up a 3-day CFTX alongside other ROTC programs, an extended field training exercise designed to test leadership, teamwork, and tactical skills. From early mornings to late nights, we ran continuous missions focused on planning, ex*****on, and adaptability, all while preparing our 3s for what’s ahead at CST. Also would like to congratulate our very own CDT Alanis, during CFTX he was nominated and awarded for his growth from day 1 to day 3. 🪖

At lab, we learned how to build a terrain model, turning a map into a 3D version so you can really see hills, valleys, and key features. These terrain models help to read the land and plan the mission.

This week during our lab, Cadet Garza contracted, taking the next step toward service, leadership, and responsibility. Contracting represents more than an obligation, it’s a pledge to uphold the Army values, embrace discipline, and lead from the front. We’re proud to see Cadet Garza return from spring break locked in, motivated, and ready to continue. 🇺🇸
