The Student Rights and Responsibilities provides support to students in resolving educational and other obstacles faced along the way to a successful achievement of their academic career. Student Rights and Responsibilities familiarizes students with the proper university resources and individuals, collaborate with faculty and staff on behalf of the students, and develops proficient conclusions to questions or concerns.

The UTRGV Office of Emergency Management, in collaboration with the UTRGV Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities and Superhero Project, is hosting the first-ever Ready UTRGV event to coincide with National Preparedness Month and National Collegiate Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM).

Come and receive information regarding on-campus and off-campus safety resources, so you can be prepared in case of a disaster or emergency at school, home, and throughout the local community.

Monday, September 18
Edinburg Campus – Ballroom
and
Friday, September 22
Brownsville Campus – PlainsCapital Bank
El Gran Salón (BSTUN 2.36)

The events will take place from 10 a.m. to Noon on both days.

Note:
• Open to UTRGV students, faculty, and staff.
• No registration is needed to attend the event.
• The first 100 attendees to walk through the door will receive a goody bag.

We are a part of a big footprint. It takes a village working together to keep ourselves and our campus community safe.
