The UTRGV Department of Communication and Department of Spanish spent yesterday and today connecting with students at South Texas College’s College Fair at McAllen and Mid-valley campuses!

It was wonderful meeting STC students and sharing the opportunities available through the College of Liberal Arts. We hope to welcome many of these students to our CLA classrooms in the near future! 🧡

A big thank you to our dedicated faculty members who volunteered their time to connect with future Vaqueros!

❤️ 224 UTRGV students said YES to saving a life!

Today, the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) was on campus registering students as potential stem cell donors for patients battling blood cancers.

Students from the UTRGV NMDP Club and Professor Alyssa Cerroni’s Health Communication class came together to encourage their fellow Vaqueros to take a few minutes to join the registry and potentially become someone’s lifesaving match. 🩸❤️

And they're not done yet!

📍 They’ll be back on the Edinburg campus TOMORROW!
🕙 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
📌 Student Union & Library

Come learn more, join the registry, and take the first step toward potentially giving someone a second chance at life.

You could be someone’s match. You could save a life. ❤️
