🚨MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🚨
Sergeant Torrey Rowe has been with the Edmond Police Department since 2012. She loves working patrol and is currently on second shift. In addition to patrol, she a Crisis Negotiator, Field Training Officer, and a Patrol Technical Investigator. She is also on the EPD Honor Guard, Crisis Intervention Team and participates actively with the Oklahoma Special Olympics. Through her career, she has received two Lifesaving Awards, various departmental commendations, and has been Officer of the Month multiple times. Sgt. Rowe is an active member with the Oklahoma Division of the International Association of Identification (OK IAI) and has been since 2014. She is an officer for the organization, where she has served as the Historian for the organization since 2019.
Sgt. Rowe has a Master’s Degree from UCO in Crime and Intelligence Analysis, a Bachelor’s degree from UCO in Criminal Justice-Police, as well as an Associate’s Degree from OSU-OKC in Police Science. During Grad School, she had the opportunity to present her research in Denver and New Orleans at two different conferences. She was also the recipient of the Finney Scholars Scholarship in 2016. Sgt. Rowe has been featured on a Women’s Law Enforcement panel at UCO and has participated in multiple other events to provide safety tips and police advice to various groups.
While off duty, Sgt. Rowe lives life to the fullest and stays busy! She owns her own candle company, Candle Okie, and has been making candles since 2014. In her free time, Sgt. Rowe loves photography, to travel, try new restaurants, work out and run races, attend concerts, and go to fun events. Sgt. Rowe is equally as obsessed with real crime shows as most people are. She was even featured on the Investigation Discovery show “Hostage 911;” the episode highlighted a hostage call that had occurred in Edmond back in 2022.
